North Country Children’s Clinic, Inc., dba North Country Family Health Center

NCFHC services include six school-based health centers, dental clinics, integrated mental health services, a telepsychiatry program, and a four-county WIC program.

Although NCFHC is a vitally needed provider, it has undergone financial duress, reaching a crisis point in October 2013 when it announced it would be suspending operations and closing its doors. The loss of NCFHC would deal a severe blow to primary care access in this area of the State. NYHealth awarded NCFHC a grant to help preserve the clinic and ensure there is no disruption of services to patients as the clinic works to develop and implement a sustainable, long-term solution for its continued operation.
