This report is the initial product of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health’s project whose overarching purpose is to analyze both qualitatively and quantitatively, meaningful and lasting options to expand health insurance coverage in New York State.
This report summarizes the results of a qualitative analysis of verbatim transcripts and written testimony submitted by participants at these events. The report is a summary of the major ideas and themes raised during the hearings and serves as a barometer of the diversity of public views on New York State Health Reform.
