Those who identify their race/ethnicity as “other” is the fastest-growing share of the population, expected to increase by more than 70% between 2020 and 2050. The Hispanic population will grow more than 40%; the non-Hispanic Black population will stay relatively steady; and the non-Hispanic white population will decrease by nearly 20%.
