“During the Affordable Care Act’s Second Open Enrollment Period, Foundations Reach Out”
Read an article in the Health Affairs GrantWatch Blog about how foundations are supporting outreach and education during the second open enrollment period under the Affordable Care Act. The article cites an NYHealth poll which found that 92% of New Yorkers who became newly insured under Obamacare during its first year were “completely or somewhat satisfied with their health insurance,” and 23% of respondents said that it was very or somewhat difficult to find a doctor’s office or a clinic that would accept them as a new patient.
