Experts at IVMF will provide technical assistance sessions for attendees interested in learning more about how to apply for State funding for peer mentor programs, best practices for standing up programming, the needs of New York’s veteran community, and recommendations for strengthening services already provided.
Day 2 (all day) – Training & Workshops
IVMF and partners will provide multiple training opportunities and workshops on topics including suicide prevention, counseling on access to lethal means, the myths and realities of veteran benefits, and information on the variety of peer mentoring opportunities for veterans.
